Biography of Yu Wenxia

Yu Wenxia, a Chinese model and beauty queen, made history as the second Chinese woman to be crowned Miss World. The first was Zhang Zilin in 2007. In addition to her Miss World title, Yu Wenxia also won the Miss Talent 2012 competition.

Yu Wenxia was born on April 6, 1989, near Harbin in the Heilongjiang province of China. She stands at a height of 178 cm. She attended Harbin Normal University, where she studied music with the goal of becoming a music teacher.
